The Southern Energy Regulatory Bureau recently mobilized a comprehensive flood emergency response as Guangdong and Guangxi experienced sustained heavy rainfall from the 'Dragon Boat Water.' An emergency leadership group was formed under bureau chiefs, implementing 24-hour duty schedules to monitor weather and issue risk warnings.

Inspectors conducted on-site supervision at Guangdong Power Grid Corp., Guangdong Energy Group, China Southern Power Grid Energy Storage Co., and Guiguan Electric Power's Hongshuihe control center, while also coordinating via calls with power enterprises and construction projects in torrential-hit areas to track flood preparations and power restoration progress.

The bureau stated it will remain on emergency footing, cooperating with local governments to guide power companies in typhoon and flood protection, prioritizing public safety and minimizing disaster losses.
