The Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the National Development and Reform Commission have jointly issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for Ecological and Environmental Monitoring, and are requiring provincial-level ecology and environment departments, development and reform commissions, as well as relevant basin and sea area regulatory bureaus and affiliated units to implement it in line with actual conditions.
The plan was formulated by the two ministries together with relevant departments to carry out the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, accelerate the establishment of a modern ecological and environmental monitoring system, and promote high-quality development of the monitoring sector.
