Typhoon Maysak triggered heavy rain and flooding that severely impacted agricultural production across multiple areas in Guangxi. In response, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs urgently allocated 22 tons of disinfectant, 9,300 protective suits, and other epidemic prevention materials to assist local animal disease prevention and control efforts.

At the same time, experienced personnel and industry experts were dispatched to the hardest-hit areas to provide on-site guidance for disaster relief and production recovery. They accelerated field drainage, implemented water and fertilizer management to help damaged crops recover, and organized timely replanting or reseeding on completely failed lands. On the livestock front, safe disposal of dead animals was enforced to prevent major animal epidemics, while efforts were made to strengthen the transportation of feed and veterinary drugs, repair damaged facilities, and scientifically arrange restocking.

Building on earlier measures such as issuing early warnings, upgrading emergency response, and sending in work teams, the ministry also enhanced monitoring of the risk of falling back into poverty due to the disaster. It guided relevant parties to activate "green channels" and implement targeted assistance measures to prevent disaster-induced poverty.
