A mushroom industrial park with an investment of CNY 12 million is now operational at the Photovoltaic Park in Bao'an Town, Tongren City, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The park features 135 modern cultivation greenhouses that integrate photovoltaic power generation on the roof with mushroom growing below. The PV panels generate electricity and also provide shade in summer and temperature/humidity insulation in winter, creating suitable conditions for oyster mushroom growth.

The base focuses on standardized and large-scale production of mushroom spawn bags, and has collaborated with the Edible Fungi Research Institute of Qinghai University to optimize cultivation techniques. As of May 5 this year, over one million jin of quality oyster mushrooms have been sold to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area market. Existing sales channels cover Shanghai, Jiangsu, and other regions, with new markets being explored.

The site is equipped with eight automated production lines that can produce 50,000 spawn bags daily, using self-developed mycelium. Smart monitoring systems are used for real-time temperature and humidity control, while biological methods are employed for pest management. Waste spawn bags are recycled into organic fertilizer for fields, achieving resource circularity.

The industry has generated employment locally. The base provides over 200 permanent jobs, and additional professional pickers are hired during peak season. Local villager La Mao Zhuoma earns CNY 4,500 per month working at the base and said the location is close to home, making it easier to take care of her family.

The base operates under a "company + base + farmer" model, integrating planting, production, and sales, while also training villagers in skills such as picking. Wei Xiangcheng, Director of the Tongren Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Comprehensive Service Center, introduced these operations.
