The National High-tech Enterprise Accreditation Management Leading Group held a meeting on June 30, 2026, chaired by Li Lecheng, Minister of Industry and Information Technology. The meeting focused on reviewing the work report on high-tech enterprise accreditation management and arranging key tasks for the next stage.
Also attending were Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology Ke Jixin, Chief Economist Gao Dongsheng, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Zhang Guangjun, Vice Minister of Finance Song Qichao, and Deputy Director of the State Taxation Administration Luo Tianshu.
The meeting conveyed the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of high-tech enterprises. It noted that since the 18th Party Congress, relevant departments have resolutely implemented the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, jointly promoting high-quality development of high-tech enterprises, strengthening the innovation position of enterprises, fostering the cultivation of new quality productive forces, and supporting stable economic and social development.
For the next steps, the meeting called for in-depth study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives, accurately understanding the new situations and requirements facing high-tech enterprise development in the new era. Key directions include significantly enhancing the indigenous innovation capabilities of high-tech enterprises, supporting enterprises in making breakthroughs in major original and core technologies, and promptly applying scientific and technological achievements to specific industries and industrial chains to enhance industrial competitiveness.
The meeting stressed the need to firmly establish and practice a correct view of political performance, strengthen responsibility, improve overall planning and coordination, and refine the policy system and working mechanisms for high-tech enterprise accreditation management. It also called for optimized government services and improved administrative efficiency to genuinely enhance enterprises' sense of gain. By pursuing 'high' and 'new' development, reforms should be deepened to stimulate the internal driving force and vitality of enterprise innovation, create a favorable ecosystem supporting enterprise innovation, and cultivate more technology-leading enterprises and world-class enterprises.
