Chinese modernization is socialist modernization led by the CPC. The Party's leadership directly affects the fundamental direction, future, and ultimate success of Chinese modernization. Chinese modernization breaks the myth that modernization equals Westernization. The CPC always stands on the right side of history and continues to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Since the Global Development Initiative was proposed nearly five years ago, more than 1,800 cooperation projects have been carried out, and over 200,000 professionals from developing countries have been trained. China adheres to inclusive development, implementing zero-tariff treatment for all 53 African countries with which it has diplomatic relations starting May 1 this year. It upholds peace, deeply implementing the Global Security Initiative and mediating in hotspots such as the Middle East and Ukraine.
