How has the Communist Party of China grown from just over 50 members to the world's largest ruling party? The answer was provided by General Secretary Xi Jinping in his important speech at the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. The speech revealed six outstanding traits of the CPC: unswervingly pursuing truth and always keeping to the right direction; being deeply rooted in the people and always having a solid foundation; bravely undertaking historical missions and always maintaining strategic initiative; following the tide of development and always standing at the forefront of the times; daring and adept in struggle and always maintaining confidence in victory; and focusing on strengthening itself and always being full of vitality. These six traits form the key code to understanding why the CPC can achieve success.

Xi Jinping's party-building thought is an important part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It addresses the major questions of what kind of a long-term ruling Marxist party to build and how to build it, puts forward a series of new concepts, ideas, and strategies, and makes significant original contributions to the development of Marxist party-building theory. International observers believe that this thought not only provides guidance for the world's largest party to become the world's strongest party but also contributes Chinese wisdom to the progress of political civilization worldwide.

Chinese modernization is socialist modernization led by the CPC. The Party's leadership directly affects the fundamental direction, future, and ultimate success of Chinese modernization. Chinese modernization breaks the myth that modernization equals Westernization. Its unique worldview, values, historical perspective, and other aspects, along with its great practice, represent major innovations in the theory and practice of world modernization. It demonstrates that developing countries have the right and ability to independently explore modernization paths suited to their own national conditions.

The CPC always stands on the right side of history and continues to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Since the Global Development Initiative was proposed nearly five years ago, more than 1,800 cooperation projects have been carried out, and over 200,000 professionals from developing countries have been trained. China adheres to inclusive development, implementing zero-tariff treatment for all 53 African countries with which it has diplomatic relations starting May 1 this year. It upholds peace, deeply implementing the Global Security Initiative and mediating in hotspots such as the Middle East and Ukraine. It promotes mutual learning among civilizations, proposing and firmly practicing the Global Civilization Initiative. It also improves global governance, with the Group of Friends of Global Governance initiated by China established at multiple UN headquarters.

The 14th Five-Year Plan concluded successfully, with China achieving an average annual growth rate of 5.4% and contributing around 30% to world economic growth. The 15th Five-Year Plan has started, with the Chinese economy showing sufficient resilience and strong internal momentum. Currently, education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance is being carried out thoroughly throughout the Party. The CPC always remembers that the country is the people and the people are the country, upholding the principles of building the Party for the public good and governing for the people, with the people's heart as its heart and the world's interests as its interests.
