The standard sets out disclosure indicator elements, coding instructions, and an indicator system for biodiversity finance environmental benefit information. It also specifies definitions and output scopes for foundational elements. The standard applies to scenarios such as the issuance, valuation, collateral management, information disclosure, statistical monitoring, research, and databases of biodiversity-linked financial products supported by CCDC.
CCDC stated that the release responds to the national strategic deployment on biodiversity conservation and aims to improve the standardization, accuracy, and transparency of such disclosures, reinforcing its industry benchmark status.
