The Xinjiang Energy Regulatory Office recently organized a safety supervision meeting in Shihezi City for power construction projects invested by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC). The meeting aimed to implement the spirit of national work safety video conferences and National Energy Administration safety meetings, and to strengthen whole-process safety and quality control.
The Zhongxinjian Power 6×660MW coal power project at Bingzhun Park was the focus. Zhongxinjian Power Group Co., Ltd. reported on its safety production management, the fulfillment of primary responsibility for power projects, and the progress and on-site safety control of this project. The XPCC Development and Reform Commission also put forward safety management requirements for thermal power project construction.
The principal responsible comrade of the Xinjiang Energy Regulatory Office set out regulatory requirements for construction safety and engineering quality safety of XPCC thermal power projects. These include: strengthening communication and coordination with the autonomous region's energy authorities and State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. to jointly promote coordinated regional development; establishing and improving the safety production responsibility system, further consolidating safety responsibilities at all levels, and ensuring safety work with a strong sense of responsibility; strengthening management of outsourced teams and safety education and training for all staff, while enhancing talent reserves; and taking multiple measures to enforce on-site safety control of thermal power projects under construction, resolutely preventing and curbing all types of production safety accidents.
More than 20 people attended the meeting, including the principal responsible comrade of the office, relevant responsible comrades from the XPCC Development and Reform Commission, and responsible comrades from participating units of the Zhongxinjian Power 6×660MW coal power project at Bingzhun Park.
