A permit briefing mechanism targeting newly licensed energy enterprises has been launched in Shanxi. Established by the Shanxi Energy Regulatory Office, the mechanism involves regular thematic meetings with enterprise legal representatives to enhance compliance and reinforce primary responsibility.

To date, five briefing sessions have been held, covering 102 licensed enterprises and 210 responsible persons.

The briefings focus on four aspects: First, detailing permit maintenance standards with clear norms for personnel, technical capabilities, and project performance to guide enterprises on qualification upkeep. Second, explaining procedures and precautions for registration changes and permit renewals to prevent overdue filings. Third, gathering feedback on operational difficulties and suggestions, with on-site responses to questions. Fourth, emphasizing the responsibilities of licensed enterprises and their leaders, clarifying regulatory requirements, and urging compliance with laws to improve business operations.

The Shanxi Energy Regulatory Office stated that it will continue to optimize services and refine permit processes, while strengthening on-site and post-event inspections in conjunction with the briefing mechanism, to support high-quality development of Shanxi's energy sector.
