The Hubei Provincial Communications Administration conducted a special inspection on work safety and flood control emergency communication support. The inspection team, led by Director Wu Jun, went to Lichuan City for comprehensive supervision.
The inspection covered key areas such as core computer rooms, generator rooms, office premises, business outlets, and emergency supply warehouses. Fire safety management, network operation safety, and emergency communication support were the focus of the inspection. Problems identified during the inspection were immediately fed back to the relevant enterprises, and they were urged to make corrections without delay.
Considering the industry situation and current priorities, Wu Jun proposed requirements for the next phase of work. He stressed that first, political awareness should be raised and safety responsibilities consolidated. It is necessary to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on work safety, carry out the "Five in Place" quality improvement action for basic support, and build a strong line of defense for work safety ideology and responsibility. Second, hidden dangers should be thoroughly investigated and the safety baseline firmly defended. Focusing on key links and scenarios of the industry, the "Five Strict" management action for key links should be implemented, and risk and hidden danger investigation and treatment should be done on a regular basis to prevent and curb all kinds of production safety accidents and continuously improve the inherent safety level of the industry. Finally, flood control priorities should be closely monitored and emergency communication support strengthened. The flood control emergency plan system should be continuously improved, emergency response and multi-party coordination mechanisms optimized, the resilience of grassroots communication networks enhanced, and the allocation of emergency equipment and the building of professional support teams strengthened, so as to ensure rapid response of personnel, materials, and equipment in case of sudden dangers and safeguard the communication lifeline, command line, and support line for flood control and disaster relief.
