The principal responsible comrade of the Guizhou Energy Regulatory Office recently delivered a special Party lecture on establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance for all Party officials and cadres.
The lecture, titled “Building Lasting Achievements, Seeking Practical Results, and Guiding High-Quality Development of Guizhou’s Energy Sector with a Correct View of Political Performance,” revolved around the fundamental and directional question of “for whom to seek political achievements, what kind of achievements to seek, and on what to rely for seeking them.” The speaker shared insights and reflections drawn from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on establishing and practicing a correct view of political performance, analyzed the manifestations, harms, and causes of deviations in the view of political performance through typical cases in Guizhou and the energy sector, and proposed countermeasures for preventing and correcting such deviations in light of specific work.
The lecture set forth three requirements: first, to strengthen Party spirit training and theoretical arming by adhering to the “first topic” system, intensifying Party spirit education and warning education, and enforcing strict Party political life; second, to uphold systemic thinking and bottom-line thinking by balancing development and security, the present and the long term, and regulation and service, and by demonstrating action in tackling “hard nuts”; third, to enhance regulatory capacity and professional competence by advancing the digitization of regulation and application capabilities, thereby continuously improving the precision and effectiveness of regulatory work.
The attending Party officials and cadres stated that they would take this lecture as an opportunity to further solidify a correct view of political performance, base themselves on their posts to do solid work, and contribute to the high-quality development of Guizhou’s energy sector.
