The Central Inspection Team No. 7 recently held a mobilization meeting for the inspection of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Team Leader Li Yingchun delivered a mobilization speech, and Sun Jinlong, Secretary of the Ministry's Party Leadership Group, presided and made a statement. The inspection team will work at the ministry for about two and a half months.
Li Yingchun stressed that inspecting central Party and state organs is an important measure to strengthen the Party's political building, fulfill the 'two safeguards,' and deepen full and rigorous Party self-governance. He noted that this year marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and the Ministry's Party Leadership Group must enhance its political stance and complete the inspection task well. The team will focus on the implementation of major Party Central Committee decisions, gaining in-depth understanding of mission fulfillment, deepening reforms, balancing development and security, full and rigorous Party self-governance, leadership and team building, and inspection rectification.
Sun Jinlong expressed firm support for the Party Central Committee's decision, stating that the Party Leadership Group will willingly accept oversight, fully and truthfully report relevant information, use the inspection as an opportunity to improve work, assume responsibility for rectification, deepen the application of inspection results, advance full and rigorous Party self-governance, and open new horizons for ecological and environmental protection.
During the inspection period, a dedicated hotline 010-66028803 (8:00 to 18:00) and a mailbox at A03567, Xicheng District, Beijing will be available, with petition acceptance until June 23, 2026. Under regulations, the inspection team mainly handles reports on violations of political, organizational, integrity, mass, work, and life discipline by the Ministry's Party Leadership Group members and key leaders at the next level. Other matters will be referred according to rules.
Attendees at the meeting included members of the Ministry's leadership, representatives of the discipline inspection and supervision office stationed at the ministry, and personnel from the Seventh Central Inspection Team and the Central Inspection Office. Officials from ministry departments, dispatched agencies, and directly affiliated institutions attended as observers.
