The General Office of the Ministry of Natural Resources issued a notice on June 25, 2026, releasing the Catalog of Recommended Land-Saving Technologies and Models (Fifth Batch).
The catalog was compiled based on local practical experiences, aiming to implement the central government's strategic deployment on comprehensive resource conservation, in accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation on the Implementation of the Land Administration Law, which calls for the promotion and application of land-saving technologies and models.
The notice requires natural resources authorities of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to study and draw lessons from the catalog in light of local conditions. Four key areas are emphasized: optimizing structures to create space, pursuing vertical development for benefits, leveraging technological innovation for outputs, and transforming functions for quality, so as to effectively improve the efficiency of construction land and promote a green and low-carbon transition of the development model.
